5.00PM - 8.00PM

DTA will be holding two Public Consultation events at the Harry Smith Complex in Lanark on behalf of our client Abbey Developments (Lanark) Limited to present the preliminary stage of the proposals we will be progressing for submission to South Lanarkshire Council in support of a Planning Application for a residential development at the former Winston Army Barracks site in Hyndford Road, Lanark.

Many of you may be familiar with the site from the previous Planning Permission granted several years ago, and also be aware of the earlier stages of the development that have since been carried out in various sections within the wider area, such as the award winning conversion of the listed Sandhurst Block, which forms the stunning ceremonial entrance to the development and is a perpetual reminder of the important history of the site.

New owners Abbey Developments (Lanark) Limited, along with their associates are proposing to progress the now neglected, undeveloped areas of the remaining site to completion stage, finally making the new vision for Winston Barracks a reality by bringing much needed private and social housing provision to an area with high demand.

Please call us on 01355-260909 to discuss or email hello@dta.scot

Although there are no current design proposals at this stage, the new development scheme is likely to be similar to the original live Planning Permission. You can view/ download a scanned version of the site plan by clicking the button.
